Become a certified MenoBoss Menopause Champion

Understands and advocates for herself.

A word before you begin

Welcome to the Menopause Champion Certification. This level makes you a woman who understands what is happening to her and advocates for herself. Those five words are the scope of it, and they are exact: it does not qualify you to do any of it for another woman, and it does not make you your own clinician. It exists to make the conversation with a clinician a good one, not to replace it.

The Curriculum

Twenty modules across five parts.

Every module opens with an introduction from Maya, your AI tutor, followed by a clear reading written to you rather than about you, and five knowledge checks you mark yourself. Completing them opens the next module.

Part Part A

What is actually happening

What is actually happening to your body — the hormones, the cycle, and the map of the transition.

  • 01

    What Menopause Actually Is

Three words get used as if they were one. Perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause. Nearly every confusing conversation you have ever had about this, including the ones with yourself at four in the morning, starts right there.

  • 02

Am I In It? Reading Your Own Signals

You want to know whether this is it. That is the question underneath almost every search you have made, and it deserves a straight answer rather than a shrug.

  • 03

The Silent Decade, 35 to 45

Between about thirty-five and forty-five something is already under way, and almost none of it gets attributed correctly at the time.

  • 04

What Is Not Menopause, and How Fast to Act

The next two chapters are a long guide to symptoms. This one comes first on purpose.

Part Part B

The symptoms, honestly

The symptoms, honestly. What each one is, what else it could be, and when to act.

  • 05

The Symptom Field Guide, Part One: The Five It Causes

Five symptoms. Only five, and that is the point of the chapter.

  • 06

The Symptom Field Guide, Part Two: Everything Else

Everything that gets attached to menopause and did not make the list of five.

  • 07

Hot Flushes, Night Sweats and the Broken Thermostat

Module 5 gave you the mechanism in a paragraph. This chapter gives you the whole thing, because it is the symptom most women come for and the one where the market takes the most money for the least effect.

  • 08

    Sleep

Ask a woman in this decade what she would take first if she could only have one thing back, and it is usually sleep.

  • 09

    Mind and Mood

This is the chapter where the market is loudest and the evidence is most careful, and the gap between those two things has cost women a great deal.

  • 10

    Brain Fog, Honestly

Two out of three women report it, and a great many of them are quietly frightened that it is the beginning of dementia.

  • 11

Sex, Intimacy and the Change That Does Not Settle

This is the chapter most women skip, and it is the one where skipping costs most.

  • 12

Bones, Heart, and the Years After

Everything so far has been about symptoms. This chapter is about the things that are not symptoms at all, which is exactly why they get ignored.

Part Part C

Treatment, claims and the appointment

Treatment, claims and the appointment — evidence, options, and how to get what you need.

  • 13

Treatment: What Exists, What It Does, What It Does Not

This is the longest chapter in the book and the one you may have skipped ahead to.

  • 14

    The Appointment: Getting Treated Properly

Everything in this book arrives at a fifteen-minute appointment. If that goes badly, none of the rest of it happened.

  • 15

Supplements, Herbs and How to Read a Claim

You are going to be sold things. A great many things, by people who are warm and confident and often sincere.

Part Part D

Living in it

Living in it — sleep, mood, work, relationships and the emotional toolkit.

  • 16

    Eating, Honestly

There is more nonsense written about food and menopause than about anything else in this book, and it is the area where you are most likely to be sold a plan.

  • 17

    Moving: Strength First

Two claims, and they are both true at once, which is why this chapter has to be careful.

  • 18

Work, and the Cost of Saying Nothing

The whole of this chapter turns on one word, and it is not menopause.

  • 19

Culture, Family and the Story You Were Handed

Nobody arrives at this with an empty head.

Part Part E

Your plan

Your plan — pulling everything together into one page you can actually use.

  • 20

What Now: Your Plan on One Page

Nineteen chapters, and if none of it turns into a page you can carry, it was reading rather than learning.

FAQ

What you're probably wondering.

Is the Champion tier really free?
Yes — completely free. No course fee and no administration fee. The paid Advocate, Practitioner and Trainer certifications sit above it; you don't need them to earn this one.
How long will it take?
Most learners finish the 20 modules in four to six weeks; there's no time limit.
Do I need a clinical background?
No. Champion is built for anyone who wants to support women well — teachers, HR, coaches, friends, daughters, sons.
Will I get a certificate?
